I love my muffin top.
My luscious, almost edible display of skin.
Pale,
With veins marking green lines,
Almost like ... graph paper mapping me.

Soft, chunky muffin top.
Like a lifesaver wrapping around my waist.
Keeping things from hurting me;
As they bounce back from it and I keep on walking.
(Walking slowly, as it's quite a heavy muffin top.)

What a cute one! I can only think of one "muffin top" and it's naughty... But I think there's more than one kind. Am I right?

I'd love to understand the code that is your poem...

Never mind... I read it a second time and realized you meant your love handles. Cute!

What do you mean by "code that is my poem"?

I think joke poems are my favorite to write.

You don't put a lot of symbols in your poems that may or may not make sense to others to allude to something else?

Oh, I do usually, yes.

Not in this poem though. This one is a straightforward joke.
